Africa FAQ

A tour to Africa can vary in price depending on the package you choose! At Bunnik Tours, we offer a range of tours across Africa so you can find the right fit for you. It could cost you anywhere from $5,295 for a land only tour, to $22,395 for an all-inclusive small group tour. You can also choose from our independent travel options from $2,885 or add on a tour extension from $995. If you have any questions about our tours, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with our team of friendly Travel Specialists.

At Bunnik Tours, we are committed to safe travel for everyone. Visit our Book & Travel with Confidence page to find out about our latest policies.

The very first thing you need to do is research. This will help you to decide what you want out of your Africa holiday. You can then determine if you want to go on a wildlife tour, what season do you want to travel in, or if you want to travel to multiple places? You then need to choose how you want to explore Africa – be it independent or on a group tour where everything is organised for you. Our Africa small group tours are stress-free, all-inclusive and allow you to fully immerse yourself in the wonders of Africa. They also have the perfect balance between organised sightseeing and free time for independent discovery.

At Bunnik Tours, we believe in responsible travel and sustainable tourism. For more information, visit our Sustainable Tourism hub.

As a tourist you are unlikely to encounter any major problems travelling to Tanzania. As with all international travel, we advise that you keep your personal possessions safe and secure, and avoid walking through deserted areas alone. When travelling the majority of your time will be spent in the regional wildlife areas such as the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and the pristine beaches of Zanzibar.

Because of the limited storage space in light aircraft and safari vehicles in Africa, we do impose restrictions on the luggage you can take on your tour to Africa. This means:

  • A soft bag is required
  • There is a maximum weight of 15kg per person

If you have any other questions about luggage requirements, please feel free to call one of our Travel Specialists on 1800 286 645 or email us.
